Welcome to the homepage of the Department of Computer Engineering (CPE) at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University.

For more than a decade, our dream of innovation was started. Since its establishment in 2004, the department seeks to attract high level academic qualifications, and offers many Ph.D. scholarships for distinguished candidates to support the department's academic staff. Currently, the department has one Full Professor, three Associated Professors, two Assistance Professors, one full-time lecturer, and one scholarship candidate in the USA. Beside the high qualified academic staff, we have three lab assistance engineers, they are skillful and high qualified.

Department of Computer Engineering (CPE) has graduated more than 500 Computer Engineers. At this moment many of them are running their own business, some are managers, and most of them are doing their postgraduate study.

Currently, there are two programs are running in CPE, Bachelor of Computer Engineering and Master of Computer Engineering and Networks. The department committee is preparing for new bachelor program: Networks and Information Security. This program will start to receive new students in first semester 2019/2020.

For the first time in governmental universities in Jordan, CPE at AHU will start an intensive training program. The new training program will run in parallel with the undergraduate program. In the training program, the students will attend three training courses every semester. These courses will last for 30 hours each and will cover many hot topics in the field of Computer Engineering, such as AI and Machine Learning, Computer Programming, Information Technology and Security, and many other skills in the field.
