About the Center


 
The Computer and Information Technology Center at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University was established by the Deans Council Resolution No. (13/2000) issued on 23/1/2000, with the aim of providing IT services to students, academic and administrative staff, and the local community. The center is responsible for digitizing administrative procedures and operations across the various faculties, deanships, and departments of the university, as well as preparing training programs in computer technology usage.
 
The center also manages and maintains the main and sub computer networks, maintains computers and their accessories, connects them to the Internet, and develops and monitors the software used at the university.
 
According to the currently approved organizational structure, the center consists of five departments: Programming and Development Department, Coordination and Follow-up Department, Networks and Cybersecurity Department, Planning and Quality Assurance Department, and E-Learning Department.
