International Relations Office (IRO) is considered as one of the main pillars of the work in Al-Hussein Bin Talal University; it was created from the belief of AHU University with the necessity of the spread of IRO’s offices for the development and rating of it among the world universities. IRO at AHU university aims the support for the development of knowledge and innovative research; that aim at developing educational and functional performance development programme. The university seeks to acquire a distinguished international reputation through partnerships and cooperation agreements with several universities and institutions worldwide.
We put these partnerships as the central feature of the university strategy to strengthen its global position. The priority of the IRO office is promoting cooperation and direct relations with international associations within and outside Jordan.

Our Mission
To promote international cooperation in higher education and scientific and cultural research between Al-Hussein Bin Talal University and local, Arab and international universities in order to serve the University's objectives, the Office is a link between the university and the local and international community to achieve a coherent and integrated system of university work both within the university (students, faculty, and staff) and outside it, through the partnerships with industrial bodies and global universities to achieve outstanding performance.
Office Objectives
1. To suggest and prepare memorandums of understanding with international universities.
2. The documentation of common cooperation fields in educational, scientific and cultural programs with other universities.
3. To utilize the experiences of professors through professors' visits exchange.
4. Exchange experiences, coordination, and cooperation between relevant specialized scientific centers.
5. To increase the volume of multidisciplinary research projects and involve research professors, professionals in such projects who wish to exchange experiences and develop their capabilities.
6. To contact international institutions for experiences exchange and to assist the University in obtaining international accreditation and an advanced position in international classifications.
