 The Faculty of Arts at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University strives for academic excellence by offering a modern and comprehensive education that meets the aspirations of society. It comprises seven academic departments: Arabic Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, Media and Strategic Studies, Library Science, History, Islamic Studies, and Geography. All departments award bachelor's degrees, preparing graduates equipped with knowledge and expertise. In addition to undergraduate programs, the Faculty offers four graduate programs: a Master of Arts in Arabic Language and Literature, a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature (from the English Department), a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies (from the Media and Strategic Studies Department), and a Master of Arts in Information Management and Digital Archiving (from the Library Science Department). The Faculty is dedicated to promoting scientific research as a cornerstone of academic innovation and continuously works to develop its programs and enhance the efficiency of its academic and administrative performance. It also strives to activate purposeful student activities, ensuring the enhancement of students’ experience and the refinement of their skills, which contributes to creating an educational environment characterized by excellence and leadership. The college is moving steadily towards achieving its mission of academic excellence, seeking to translate its philosophy and vision into tangible reality through the development of integrated graduate programs that contribute to bringing about a qualitative shift in its academic programs, which will positively reflect on the future of the college and its societal role.
