Call for Papers

We are most delighted to welcome you to join us at the AMSE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MODELLING AND SIMULATION (MS'08 JORDAN), which will be held in Petra, Jordan, November 18-20, 2008. The MS'08 Jordan meeting is focused on Modeling and Simulation in Engineering. This Conference aims to bring together members of the modeling and simulation communities working in universities, research centers and important companies.

Visiting ancient Petra is always a good idea, the city which was famously described by Burgon as “a rose-red city”. In 1985 the site was designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site when it was described as “one of the most precious cultural properties of man’s cultural heritage”. Often described as the eighth wonder of the ancient world, and in 2007 it was chosen as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. If you are planning to come with the family and stay a couple of days after or before the conference you can visit Aqaba as well as Wadi Rum. In winter, while Amman shivers around 5oC (41oF), the temperature hovers steadily at about 25oC (77oF) in Aqaba. The thriving underwater marine life and the crystal clear water of the Gulf of Aqaba make diving conditions there among the acknowledged best in the world. Twenty five Kilometrs to the north of Aqaba you can visit Wadi Rum which stuns in its natural beauty, Wadi Rum epitomizes the romance of the desert.
