Computer Interfacing and Peripherals

This lab is an extension the assembly and microprocessor laboratory.  The students who will enroll in the interfacing lab will design and implement several interfacing tasks like parallel and serial interfacing to printers, scanners and other communication devices; Timer programming like wave generation, frequency meters, and real time clocks; A-to-D and D-to-A converters. Furthermore, the students will connect two MTS-86 modules to each other and demonstrate some tasks on this connectivity. Another micro-controller experiments such as turning a step DC motor, temperature controlling can be also illustrated.
