Course Description:

This course includes the basic concepts in counseling and guidance, the nature of counseling, counseling objectives, counseling types, counseling aspects, how to build counseling relationships, and the roles of counselor and client. Also, it covers guidance methods, counseling theories, and methods of collecting data (information) for counseling purposes and how to use in preparing for counseling programs in education, the aspects of development, and developmental counseling and guidance and their importance in educational process.
