The course includes the basis, history, rationalizations, and models of early intervention. Additionally, the course comprises educational, psychological, and developmental needs and features of children with special needs in early childhood. The course teaches students about prevention, screening, diagnoses, programs, instruction methods of early childhood disabilities. The course emphasizes developing communication skills of pre-school teachers with families of children special needs and how to implement them in guiding and training them. Then, the course discusses modern trends in the field of early intervention.
