Course Description:

The purpose of this course is to teach students about the basis that inclusion of children with special needs relay upon. The course includes concepts, methods, and problems of inclusion. Moreover, it includes detailed discussion about evaluating special education services in general classroom such as resource room, visiting teacher, and consulting teacher. The course compares and contrasts between different inclusion programs. Finally, the course distinguishes the rules of special and general education classroom teachers when teaching children with disabilities.
