Assistant professor, Software Engineering Department, Faculty of Information Technology, Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, Ma'an, Jordan

I have enrolled into Ph.D. program and completed in 2013 my Ph.D. studies of Computer Science & Engineering at University of Bridgeport, USA. During my studies I believed that being Al-Hussein Bin Talal university scholar would not only empower my research development, but would give me the framework to utilize my full potentials.

My courage as a researcher reflects my personal determination to pursue an education. I have no regrets, Computer engineering makes me part of the most important revolution that has changed the world of technology.

Through my Ph.D. program I have often been involved in volunteering, in order to gain experience, but also to give my personal contribution to the community. In February 2011, I was invited to the United Nations in Manhattan to lead panels aimed at attracting more women into the field of science and technology. And the American Association of University Women asked me to talk about my education and life at a conference held at Housatonic Community College celebrates International Women’s Day in March 2011.

During my Ph.D. I received best paper awards in two conferences, ASEE2012  and ASEE2013. In addition, I awarded financial prize from Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the international honors society for computing and information sciences. Moreover, I graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

Recently I have awarded two postdoc scholarships from European Union Commission and Jordanian-American Fulbright Commission.
